Rita Fox

Rita has enjoyed a career for over 27 years. She has worked with patients in a variety of settings, including post operative care, home care, rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient clinics. She has been focused on outpatient orthopedics for the last 10 years. She has a hands-on approach and uses manual therapy to improve joint and fascial mobility. She assesses movement patterns and provides tactile feedback and cueing to help her patients move and function better. She loves providing education and body mechanic training to improve daily tasks and athletic performance. She enjoys working with people on strengthening prior to orthopedic surgeries and post surgical rehabilitation. Her passion is working with people recovering from injury or illness and helping them return to all the activities that they enjoy. She has a clinical interest in working with perimenopausal and menopausal women to increase bone density, pelvic floor function and overall well being.
Rita lives in Cumberland and is the proud mom of two sons, Mason age 14 and Carson age 9. She loves watching them grow and being their activity coordinator and cheerleader. Rita has trained her golden retriever, Sunshine, to be a therapy dog. She loves being active outside and when she is not working you can find her walking or jogging the trails with Sunshine and new pup, Windsor. She is a former marathon runner and triathlete. She now enjoys yoga, strength training, paddleboarding, nordic skiing, gardening and cooking healthy meals for her family.

Sean Jeffrey

Sean originates from Rhode Island and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of New England. He quickly fell for Maine’s natural beauty and the kindness of its residents. He specializes in orthopedics, with extensive advanced education in dry needling, manual therapy, and exercise science. Sean’s treatments go beyond the typical stretches and exercises to take a full body holistic approach. Sean prides himself as a patient educator, ensuring that the folks he treats deeply understand their condition and his individualized treatment approach. His treatments borrow from his extensive education, as well as an eclectic fitness journey including Yoga, Crossfit, and martial arts. In his own time, Sean enjoys time spent outdoors, in his garden, at the beach, or in the woods, with his wife Jenn and dog Mara. Michelle Roy PT, DPT, LMT
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Licensed Massage Therapist and a CrossFit Level 2 Certified Trainer. I have completed training through the Institute of Clinical Excellense for Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete: Pregnant and Postpartum and through Herman and Wallace for Pelvic Floor Therapist Training, in addition to obtaining the BirthFit Leader level of training from the BirthFit Education. I am constantly seeking opportunities for further training and education to continue to improve my clinical skills and to better serve my community.

Jennifer Schweizer MS, LMT
Meet Jennifer, exercise physiologist and licensed massage therapist!
Jennifer is a health and wellness professional with over 25 years of experience. Since receiving her massage therapy license from New York State in 1998, her experience over the years has allowed her to bring many modalities to her practice. These include Swedish massage, medical massage, sports massage, PNF stretching and with her extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, individual treatment plans will be more comprehensive.
The last fifteen years her focus has been working with the older adult population as a Fitness Manager at a retirement community in NJ before moving to Maine. As well as managing the fitness department including the aquatic center, personal training, massage therapy and exercise classes, Jennifer also brought Pickleball to the community as well as the Walking Club.
Jennifer thrives on whole body wellness and feels this partnership with Dr. Michelle will be a positive experience for both existing clients and new clients.

Bridgett Wooten
Bridgett is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong clinical interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation, gait mechanics, balance training, posture and core strengthening. Her motivation centers around helping patients return to meaningful, functional movements in their daily lives. She earned her degree from Kennebec Valley, where she continues to serve on the PTA Academic Advisory Board. She is thrilled to be part of the Centreboard team, having had the opportunity to complete clinical education experiences with Michelle and Rita. During that time, she developed a deep appreciation for Centreboard’s patient-centered treatment philosophy, collaborative environment, and commitment to whole-patient care.
With a lifelong fascination for anatomy and the body in motion, Bridgett brings intention and enthusiasm into her patient care. She is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 500 instructor and has spent years both teaching and practicing yoga as an ongoing part of her personal and professional life. Her background - including yin, vinyasa, mindful meditation, and continued advanced study in prenatal and accessibility yoga - supports a thoughtful, holistic approach to rehabilitation. Bridgett is passionate about continuing her education through both formal training and lived experience, continually deepening her understanding of movement, breath, nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection.
A Maine native, Bridgett grew up on the Midcoast and has now lived in North Yarmouth for over 20 years. She enjoys life as a mother and small business owner, and values staying connected to her local community. Outside of the clinic, Bridgett can often be found hiking or trail walking with her Australian Shepherd, paddleboarding, teaching and practicing yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, and tinkering on engines. She also has a well-known love for plants and is ceaselessly growing her collection. She has a deep appreciation for lifelong learning and continues to expand her studies of the human body alongside Vedic philosophy and Jyotish (Vedic astrology), enhancing her perspective on balance, rhythm, and overall well-being of the body and mind.
